I’ve recently dipped my toes in the modular water (lockdown will do that to you) and I’m slowly building up my portable rack. I’ll post some pics soon.

As I'm mainly a keyboard man I find twiddling modulars to be strangely liberating because the main objective at the moment is to increase my familiarity with it and as such I don't feel a lot of pressure to achieve anything on it yet.

I've not had a lot of time to play with the Moog stack so far but from the couple of little sessions I've managed to squeeze in it's clear that it's got a lot of potential.

I've got an idea for something I want to try out tonight. Working with a modular is certainly a lot different to my normal approach but ultimately I want to get to the point I can incorporate elements of modular texture into my normal workflow, and it's a lot of fun anyway.

I'm looking forward to seeing what tonight brings :-)

Those Moogs are particularly inviting as a set. I decided I'd prefer a Grandmother and a Subharmonicon to a Matriarch. I have the Grandmother since the summer, and the Subharmonicon is next on the list.
