I recently inherited practically unused KORG 01/WproX. I love this 88 keys unit. One thing I don’t like is the usage of the 2DD floppy disks. I read about the “USB floppy emulator” and decided to get one and install it. I bought on Amazon emulator made by Gotek for KORG and Roland synthesizers.

On this forum, I found great tutorial “HOWTO: Installing a USB floppy emulator in a Korg Trinity” with detailed description of the installation process. I followed this tutorial on my 01/WproX to install it, assuming that it will work.

Well – it didn’t. I have the same problem as one of the users. On every access attempt (read, write or format) I am getting:

ERROR: Drive not ready.

I wonder: has anyone got it to work on Korg 01/W proX?
Any help will be appreciated!
