Problem with Power Supply adapter for Behringer MS-1

Postby S.Crow » Mon Apr 12, 2021 9:52 am

Hi, this came with a universal adapter and the bit you snap in place depending on your country is proving to be impossible to install.
I’m reluctant to push it too hard in case I break it.
Anyone else had issues with a universal Behringer adapter?

I’ve had the odd issue with these types of universal adapters before as they can be very stiff.
Will reach out to Behringer later but be useful to get any response from here.
Thanks

Worth having a really good look at the plastic casting - sometimes all it takes is a tiny bit of flashing that's not been removed properly to cause a jam.

They need to make them hard to get on/off for safety. Sometimes it's just a matter of technique, sometimes one of brute force. have a good look and see what might be preventing the parts from sliding together.

If it all goes pear-shaped you can get suitable replacement units with fixed plugs from Amazon and eBay for around £11.

Thanks all.
Finally got around to having another go and the technique just came to me.
I'm glad I didn't reach out to Behringer in the meantime. :)
