This is good, Muff's is now Modwiiggler, it’s better suited to that forum, describes it better.

Hooray! Tiresome laddishness in the music community is way past its sell-by-date.

I think SOS is alright though, it’s already perfectly formed.

And kudos to SOS for frequently featuring female producers, engineers and so on lately, including this month's interesting and inspiring Talkback with Isabel Gracefield.

I’m no goody-two-shoes by any means, i'm not a prude, but I really don’t know how they chose that name, just glad they’ve changed it, my partner at the time was a bit freaked, she wondered what on earth I was looking at.

"Muff Wiggler was created by the late Mike McGrath who chose the name based on two of his favourite Electro-Harmonix guitar pedals: the Big Muff and the Wiggler. It was never intended to be offensive to anyone"

That sounds like a reasonable excuse, I believe it :)

Talking of pedals, I thought no more of Moogs "MoogerFooger" pedal until I read somewhere that you had to pronounce it with a heavy new york accent.
I was initally so shocked, that I had to do some uTubeing to perfect my heavy NY accent to find out how shocked I really was.

LOL As a native New Yorker, I take exception to that! :headbang:

That puts it into context, but I think we’d all know it wouldn’t be a good idea, just being practical.
