DIY Dust covers/Slips covers for keyboards and studio monitors

Postby SAM CA » Thu Aug 23, 2018 4:51 pm

With a lot of help, I got some dust covers made for 2 of my keyboards and a pair of Focal Twin6 be monitors. I took some footage along the way and made a video. In case if you're looking for some ideas, here are the two videos:

Nice job, Sam, and good explanations in the videos.

I'm far to busy (...lazy) for all that, though, and find large sheets of bubble-wrap work very well on little-used mixers and keyboards etc... The speakers don't need dust sheets as the dust never gets a chance to settle!

ha ha ha...I think large sheets of bubble-wrap should do! Nonetheless, it's nice to have a real dust cover.

I use dry cleaner bags draped over things, which I read about somewhere.
