Nice work Drew... thought it looks to me as if you might have saved time getting Hugh to look at the earth problem ;)

Some of my musical works.
I had a weird time in Surrey once, but that was a drummer's fault.

I think Hugh's focus is more on introducing a stable earth rather than shifting one... ;)

Just don't dig a circular trench and end up with a ground loop.

Guitars are like partners. You know within 10 seconds of picking one up whether or not it's a keeper.

Believe it or not it's taken a lot of effort to get this far.

Just noticed something a bit odd.
Your neighbour's fence on the left looks quite normal, and so does your back fence, but your fence on the right has the pickets on the same side of the palings as the posts.
Ooo-Errr.

Yes. I am that Linux nut.
Onwards and... err... sideways!

Just another of those compromises...

Actually the way the fences are constructed is with the pickets on alternating sides. So one side must have palings and pickets. Unless you put the palings on both sides as well. Or do away with them altogether, which wouldn't have surprised me given some of the other shabbiness around this construction...

fent
n. A slit; specifically, a short slit or opening left in an article of dress, as in the sleeve of a shirt, at the top of the skirt in a dress, etc., as a means of putting it on; a placket or placket-hole.
n. A crack; a flaw.
n. A remnant, as of cotton; an odd piece; specifically, imperfectly printed or imperfectly dyed ends of cotton and other cloths, which are sold for patchwork and similar purposes.

Ahah, it’s not the singular of fence.

It looks as though your studio build is going ahead faster than the re-installation of my UR824 drivers following last night's Windows 'upgrade'.

Nice work Drew

That was quick!
Looks very nice. How did the people putting it up manage to find your place though that labyrinth of twisty-turny passages... er... roads?

Yeah, i've had a couple of updates like that recently. :(
But the rate of progress will slow rapidly once the professionals depart and I start work on the room treatment...

I would make a joke about sat-nav here but our house doesn't show up on a lot of maps (even 16 years after being built)...
