i am planning to try build myself some microphones using electret capsules.
what is the best way sound and noise wise to power them with with phantom power? planning on using my mixpre 6 so i want to buy or build 4 adapters if needed, like the ones needed to power the mics for instruments.
any suggestion will be welcome for this kind of microphones:
1_ambisonic 4 cardioid mics setup
2_MS 3 cardioid mics setup/4 cardioid mics for bluemline setup
3_decca three 3 omni mics
4_contact microphone
5_lav with really small capsule
i was thinking to buy primo capsules, are there any better capsules for the price? i need them to be shipped in italy.
thank you for your attention!

If I were doing this I'd look at some of the designs for phantom powering PZM mics. I seem to remember Chris Hicks and Rick Chinn had some designs on the web. Paul White also did an article in Home and Studio Recording which is probably available on the Muzines website.

Here's a link to Rick Chinn's page which includes links to both circuits I mentioned.

However, if you don't want to DIY then the Rode adaptor that Shufflebeat linked to should work fine.

thank you all for the precious hints and help!
aside from building quality(i see some issues on amazon reviews), the electronic of the rode adapter quality wise is high enough to be matched with primo capsules 14dB selfnoise and my mixpre good quality preamp? or the sennheiser, akg or lom cables adapters are better?

If you are worried about the adaptors changing the sound you could always avoid them by powering your capsules from a battery and connecting them directly to the mic inputs of your Mixpre.
