Jack to xlr reamp box cable

Postby Bartman101 » Thu Apr 15, 2021 12:21 pm

I want to connect a Scarlet18i8 Jack output to a reamp box, but the reamp only has a xlr input.
How do I assemble the cable?
Which pins connect to the mono Jack?

It should be a TRS (stereo) plug, not a 'mono jack' wired to a male XLR with standard dual-core/screened cable.

Tip to pin 2 on one core
Ring to pin 3 on the other core
Cable screen to plug sleeve and XLR pin 1
It is not necessary to link XLR pin 1 to the shell.
