Moondance - ending chords?

Postby pax-eterna » Wed Feb 14, 2018 2:54 am

Rest of the song is pretty easy, but can anyone tell me what are the exact chords/bassline in the triplet run down to the ending?

Thanks

Just had a quick listen. It sounds like the walkdown is Amin - Gmaj - Fmaj - Emaj - Dmin (with the bass playing the root of each), finally ending on one of those unresolved jazz chords, most likely a variation on Amin (maj9), shown below.

Cheers.

That fourth one that sounds like Em is elusive, since the flute is playing F. And the piano sneaks a B into the last one, as Temp indicates.

thanks guys - yeah those other instruments were confusing me a little as to what exactly the altered chords really were. I appreciate the help as it has steered me in the right direction.

cheers
