You have to rip it. You can't just copy it.

I sent you a link to a video that shows you how to do it.

Gotta be honest - it would be easier with a DAW! Cubase, for instance, has a direct interface with Soudcloud!

HA, For you lot it might - for me not!

Well, we won't convince you, but it's true... :D

Ok, in the media player you need to go the tools (or Organise) prompt, select options, Rip music tab, and in the format drop-down select WAV

What does rip mean, how do you rip, where is the rip button? I might just smash it with my scotch bottle!

Only kiddin' you guys are the most patient, helpful chaps - thank you.

I'll have to get help this end. It's just so frustrating. I feel imprisoned.

How much do you trust us Matt? There's a programme called Teamviewer you can download that will allow another user to see your screen (and even take control if you let them)...

When you messaged me I sent you a link to a video that leads you through the rip process in very simple steps - did you watch it?

Not recieved any messages yet Elf.

I'll get a friend to assist, might be a couple of days though.

Anyone prepared to give me an email address, I could send the file direct and you could see if it's active? Don't worry, I'm not the intrusive type!

Thanks guys, I WILL get there.

PM sent :¬)

Happy to help via teamviewer if you don't have any luck. If I can talk my parents through re-configuring their email server details I'm pretty sure I can help you rip a CD :)

Thanks guys,

Try this ??? Seems to be there, but there's a few elements missing on this take so I'll re-post when it's a little more polished. At least I can do it now!

Matt's also posted the same tune under 'Production'... at the very least he's now going to have to jump between two threads to see what's being said! :D

Glad to see you sorted it out.
Might be worth asking the mods to lock this thread though or, as Mike says, you'll be jumping around for feedback.

You can find the thread in Production HERE. I'll lock this one to avoid confusion.

Please resist the temptation to make duplicate posts, it can only cause confusion.
