I’ve just recorded a cover of this song, my current CD is already mastered but I need to ad this track, my studio is being rebuilt, so it’ll have to wait.
It’s nothing like the original Roll Out The Barrel, although the lyrics are all there, it has an ambient ostinato backing, and to get the right vocal effect I had to have a few drinks first, I just "cannot" record any type of vocal without getting drunk first,those of you who have heard my Happy Birthday track will know the effect I’m talking about.
I think it’s turned out well, and makes a great ironic ending for my CD.
Available on all good and bad Band Camp sites near you, as soon as my basement permits.
