Speaker poles to suit dB sub 12

Postby daffyduxxx » Tue Apr 26, 2011 10:45 am

Hi,
we have a pair of db sub 12 active subs and want to use speaker poles with them to put our Mackie SRM 450's on top. We bought a pair of 35mm diameter poles, but the holes on the sub are 36mm and the poles wobbled too much for our liking.
Has anyone else come across this? Do you know where we can get a pair of 36mm poles other than the K&M ones which are £40 each !!
Many thanks for any help you can give,
Paul

Hi, Rather than fork out more money why not secure a suitable sleeve on the bottom section either with some rubber tubing or even tape.Dave

Dammit. I got a pair of these subs at the weekend and have ordered FOUR 35mm poles (2x 3ft and 2x 4ft). Luckily they were fairly cheap. Trouble is I think my JBL tops are 35mm so looks like I need 35mm at one end and 36mm at the other? What a palava. Have they not heard of standards?
