+1 for xr18
Been used for 2.5 years now with 7 piece pop band. Any issues we had were always due to user error. Always run it in rehearsals. External router in use, as that was the advice given when it was released. I don't think it's really need though.
On android, mixing station Pro is very good.
I'd probably buy another if starting over again.

However, from what I've read the 24 is completely new design from the ground up, and reports seem to be positive. I sincerely hope that's the case...
Great review here...
Aye, that's what sold it to me!

Bill Withers while Tom Waits, and Stan Getz
I have the MR12 in my studio, it replaced a patchbay and A&H Zed10FX. The MR12 sounds noticeably better than the Zed10FX in a moderately well treated, fairly dead sounding studio with KH120s for mixing and EV QRX112s for rehearsals. I doubt the difference would be noticeable in a live setting. The Midas app has a few bugs in it that they have not fixed since I (and others) reported them many months ago and I use the XR18 app, which works fine on my iPad. The built in WiFi is unreliable even in my home studio, hard wired to a laptop seems rock solid in my small experience.
