Subwoofer

I have an alto 212s Sub and have it connected to a front of house speaker, however there seems to be a delay. The sub seems to be ever so slightly behind the speaker. Any suggestions how to get them in sync with each other?

How is the sub connected to the speaker? Does a full-range signal go into the sub and the high pass signal output on it connect to the FOH speaker? Or is there an external crossover feeding them, if so, which make/model? Or is there a separate feed for the sub from the desk (if so which desk)?

How are the speakers spatially located? Is the sub behind the FOH speaker, level to it or in front of it and by how much?

Where are you standing with respect to the two speakers?

Is there any digital processing being applied to the sub that would delay the signal getting to it?
