Stereo channels can be controlled by a single DCA fader on the X32 and the latest firmware, I think, allows custom layers so, although you have only 8 DCAs you can mix and match their faders in a custom layer.
The Wing does look a seriously nice bit of kit for the money though. Not that I'll be selling my X32C anytime soon, it does everything I need and more, especially since I've mostly retired

If those are lights pointing down at the I/O connections, then that's a good idea.

Also, if it wasn't already spotted, the top section is wider that the I/o section so in theory it will fit on a smaller table if necessary.
And Stageconnect will be freely usable by anyone with no licencing cost or cost to acquire the datasheets, that should help adoption of what looks to be a quite useful standard.
