They were good desks but are pretty old now. I had one in the studio for a few years and it sounded good and was easy to use. I can't remember if I ever used live but probably did.
They were not modular but built onto a couple or three circuit boards (most older Soundcraft kit had a board per channel) and used a lot of SMDs so not really designed for ease of repair but they are fixable with care.
It's not something to pay a 'vintage' price for but if it's cheap and it all works properly it could serve you well.
