I just had cause to use Waves tech support...

...It was excellent.

They responded to my initial query within 30mins yesterday (yes - a sunday) and fixed my issue (MPX master tape disappearing when my other waves plugins remained???) this evening.

The tech guy was knowledgable and courteous.

I know paying for WUP is a pain, but if it means you get decent after sales service, it may well be worth it...

They've always had pretty good support, imo - and certainly when I've used them, I was very happy with the support.

I prefer not needing any tech support. As in, stuff just works.

Never needed waves tech support, stuff I have sounds great, so far works great...

Like the above posters have mentioned, wave tech support has always been useful for me.

They reply quickly and simply get the job done.
