I've been a fan of Drumcore for years, since I heard a track produced with DrumCore. The drums were part of a Drummer Pack featuring longtime Nashville session player Lonnie Wilson; since I've played with him many times, I was easily able to hear his great style in the drummer pack.
The track sounded real--I was amazed at how the producer had used Drumcore to come up with a track that sounded like he'd brought someone into the studio to play drums.
Since then I've loaded up on great drummer packs featuring players like Steve Gad, Bernard Purdie, Terry Bozzio, other greats; I always astound my musician friends with demos made with DC--they ask, "Where'd you get those drums?"
Not only is it one of my favorite plugins, but DrumCore is supported by a great company; each time I've reached out to Sonoma Wire Works--to request a specific drummer or when I updated my ProTools rig one time--I've gotten immediate help and great service.
I can't say enough about these guys; great software!
