I'm famous! (again)

Postby garrettendi » Fri May 25, 2018 11:49 am

For the second time, a question I asked is featured in the latest issue of SOS*!

I never got paid last time so if I don't this time you'll be hearing from my solicitors!

Seriously, thanks for using my basic question in the magazine. I always get a little proud when I make such a contribution to the mag. I don't think I'll ever be expert enough to be a columnist, so it feels good to have something I wrote in there, even if it's just one of my many inane questions!

Hello to everyone who reads it!

* I refer to the question on battery/phantom power for the Orchid Classic DI.

Despite my post count, I know nothing. Think of me as the court jester!

Congrats.

And it proves we don't make the questions up.

I never thought you did! Do you have some people suggesting that?

Oh wow garrettendi, you've asked TWO intelligent questions that have been published in SOS?

I shall view you in a different light from now on (probably a torch under the bedclothes ;) )

Bravo that man!

Does garrettendi not mind you crawling around under his bedclothes with a torch?

I suspect we should allow garrettendi to answer for himself on this delicate issue

I think we should also canvas the opinion of his soon-to-be-wife...

She smiled at that last post so I assume I have the green light!

I'll get some batteries for the torch.

[smug] Do you know, I think I can beat that [/smug]. I've only had one question published but I've also had a bit of kit I recommended picked up by Hugh and reviewed in the mag!

[unbearably smug] "I'm indebted, then, to a long-term SOS forum member, for bringing an excellent gadget, the K&M 21431 mini boom arm, to my attention". That's me! [/unbearably smug]

It's always the same... You spend a bank holiday on the SOS Forums and you get smug-burned.
