This Grauniad article today seems strangely familiar

I thought much the same thing when I saw the Grauniad one! I expect the Cypress Hill PR machine is firing on all cylinders, with the release of their new album.
There's an interesting inconsistency though... The 'whinny' sample is ascribed to a blues guitar lick in our interview, and to a horn sample in the Guardian one. The one sample he insist it isn't — 'Good Guys Only Win In The Movies' by Mel & Tim — is this one...

...which sounds absolutely spot-on to me!
The law around sampling was pretty Wild West back in 1993 but has tightened up a helluva lot since. I wonder if he's strategically mis-remembering its provenance...?
