No 'Live Sound' articles or reviews in the latest magazine...
A one-off 'Nothing to report' omission or an editorial change of direction?
It is/was the section of the magazine I visit first...

I've brought your query to the attention of Mr C. Korff esquire who is the section editor looking after that particular aspect of the magazine.
He may be out at Superbooth though, so may not be able to respond promptly....

Hi Mike. I didn't see your post - otherwise I'd have made sure someone replied! We certainly have no plans to abandon or reduce the quantity of live sound content. It's just that, as the live/location/studio boundary between products becomes increasingly blurred, it's now all being treated as mainstream SOS content rather than a seperate section.
We still have a section editor Chris) responsible for commissioning live-sound content, and writers wanting to write about it!
But I'll mention your feedback at the next editorial meeting.

Thanks Matt
Yup! the lines are increasingly blurred between 'live' and 'studio'.
Good news that live-sound articles and reviews will continue... I've been pointed in the direction of some good kit and techniques over the years.
