Ace service from SOS

Postby Kwackman » Mon Apr 20, 2020 12:02 pm

A couple of weeks ago I contacted SOS via the website form to say my April magazine hadn't arrived. Aware that this virus is affecting everyone, I said not to worry about sending a replacement as I also had on-line and PDF access, I was just worried I'd fallen off the subscription list.
I'd a email reply confirming a magazine had been sent to me (so I was still on the list) and despite low stocks and fewer staff he would try to send me one.
A week later (Easter had added more delays) he asked if a magazine had arrived. It hadn't! But I did say, please don't worry!

However, today the postman delivered TWO magazines! Both are replacements in hand-written envelopes, each costing £1.83 to send. One was postmarked 08-04-20 the other 15-04-20.

So, despite none of the delivery issues being SOS's fault, someone went to a lot of trouble to make sure I got my magazine, and for that, I'm grateful.

Nice one

Also, Davy, if it makes you feel better I've offset some of the extra cost of posting your second magazine in that I also subscribe to the paper edition, but opted out of having them delivered to me as the PDFs are so good.
