Where's my post

Postby Mayonline » Sat Dec 28, 2019 5:42 pm

Hi, I posted a question earlier and rec'd a mail to confirm it had been approved (needed as I am new to these forums). The email I rec'd has a link to my post, but when I click it, it say the topic doesn't exist?!

Here is the email/link if it helps? Has it disappeared? Do I need to repost? Does this happen a lot?

Hi, the SOS forum comes up fairly high in the search engines which makes it attractive to spammers. Therefore all new posters have their first few postings moderated in order to prevent spam. The Mods aren't online all the time so it may take a few hours for postings to be approved which is what happened in your case. If you make a few more sensible postings you'll find that they start to appear automatically.
