I know this thread has been dead for quite a while now... but I recently came across it while searching for other information on the A807 and thought it worthwhile to update it... I've no idea if the OP resolved his query.

According to this reference website which lists all the official EPROM software releases, there was no edition for the A807 dated 30/88.

My own A807 MKi machine has 10.89 release and I've seen a friend's MkII model with the 20.92 release. No one I've found has ever come across a release which displays on start-up as 30.88.

BTW, the code is simply giving the week and year of issue. Given the 88 year in the unidentified code, could it be a pre-release version or a special of some kind?
