Don't worry, this won't hurt a bit

I like the use of acoustic treatment in that wall/corner your close to there. Is it effective? This must affect the stereo imaging? But then again thats pretty nearfield monitoring....

Still goto put up my bass traps and buy more treatment yet. New keys too!!!!

On the top right I thought you'd got a collection of DVDs. :D

This place looks space-age with all that treatment - is that a fridge on the bottom right - the big black thing next to the PC tower

The 'PC tower' is actually a CD duplicator - my computers are in the 'no man's land' between the control room and the live room to get rid of the fan noise - the most annoying sound in the control room is now a slight transformer hum from my Roland A50 :) The big black thing is a fridge though - a special kind designed for upmarket hotel rooms that runs completely silent.

You've seen it before but here it is again. Must take some new shots actually since I now have white plantation shutters at the window and the walls are light green.

Have you snuck in a sly shot of a posh electronic drumkit?

I love these threads, but this is the first time I've managed to get some pictures to show.

A few years ago :- Image

Now - nothing very flash here, and not even any acoustic treatment. Crumar DS2 is missing in action hopefully getting repaired

And heres my guitars :-

Nice to see a home studio that's obviously still in a victorian sitting room ... is the DAB radio there for monitoring radio mixes, or an essential Archers break round about 2pm (with a G&T) ? ;)

Yep! I use it to check mono mixes and to listen to The Archers with a G&T.
