Having issues with Waves Tune and Logic

Postby DiceJarJames » Wed Apr 28, 2010 11:34 am

Anyone using Waves Tune and having issues? I never used to have any problems but this week a few things have arisen...

General clicks and pops when using it. I've tried adjusting the audio buffers - in case it was a latency issue - but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
It can't be due to a slow system - as you'll see from my spec.

A song that I brought in from Pro Tools (consolidated audio files). The song had a number of tempo/signature changes, so I first copied those in Logic and then imported the audio.
Now, when I'm using Waves Tune and it gets to a tempo/sig change, there's a nasty click, spins out a bit, then returns to normality. This makes Waves Tune impossible to use in this part of the song.

Any ideas?

I think general consensus it that the program is quite buggy - I'm not surprised that tempo changes are causing it problems.

I prefer to do all my tuning in melodyne and bounce down - having tuning as a live plugin always seems a bit iffy to me - even using Autotune - I prefer to print the audio....

Not much help I guess but that's my experience.
