I do not think at £75 it is at all good value!
Not to blow "own" trumpet (but do have a look at the range!) the Boss GE-7 EQ pedal will do all that simple job will and more and is at least £10 cheaper.

Paul, WTGR, the "no footswitch" point is a red fish! Pedals with buffers just turn off the effect not the buffers so the SOS COULD have had a switch and provide an A/B of the treble boost.

Lastly, the sensitivity to a dirty power supply is really unforgivable these days. The filters should be in the GEAR! (that does not of course excuse rubbish PSUs) .
