2017 voting form not working

Postby The Elf » Fri Oct 07, 2016 10:22 am

I've had three attempts.

The first time it complained about me missing county (which the PO don't require), then it sent me to the top of the form and lost all my input.

The second time it sat there saying 'Submitting', but never did anything.

The third time (having re-loaded and lost all my input once again) the submit button did nothing when clicked.

I really can't be bothered going through it all yet again... :(

The guys have had a poke around and tell me it's all working fine.

Could it be an issue with your browser not liking the Squarespace host site, perhaps? What browser are you using?

The other thought is that maybe having the form labels underneath the related text boxes is confusing... Omitting mandatory stuff does send you back to fix it, so perhaps that's what was happening?

Anyway, apparently there's a lot of votes already cast, so a lot of people have made it work so far! ;)

Tried it again just now and it worked first time.

One of my mates just told me he also tried it earlier today with similar results to mine above and he gave up too.

Odd. :?
