Re: Pitbull guitar kits
That's because you are linking to the imgur page and not the image. In windows, right click and 'view image'. Then copy the web address. Unless it says .jpg at the end, the link isn't an image link.

So simple that even a wabbit can do it!

Doh! I naively assumed that the copy link function on the image would copy the image link.
How foolish of me!
Thanks Wonks.

Re: Pitbull guitar kits
I don't use Imgur, but it looks like it does have an image link function. But if it doesn't have a .jpg or .png or any of the other common image types at the end, it's probably wrong.

Drew that’s looking great!
Re images, I use imgur. I think I just click on the image in the gallery then use the ‘copy link’ button for ‘direct link’. On a phone at the moment so can’t check exactly.

Re: Pitbull guitar kits
Yeah, that's what I was doing. I appear to have issues...
...with uploading photos.
Anyway think I've got it sorted now. About to go and check yesterday's work.

Thanks folks.
There's a bit of fine tuning of the set-up to do but I think she's going to play nicely as well.

Cheers all, just needs a final polish once the oil has completely cured and a smidge off the nut.

That’s looking really nice, well done.
As a fully paid up member of the Bodger’s Union I have a mixture of admiration and envy when I see something like this. I hope that it plays as good as it looks

Re: Pitbull guitar kits
Oh don't worry, there have been plenty of bodges and corrections along the way! But I think I've got away with most of them.
There's some more set-up tweaking to be done but I'm going to let the neck settle in first and give it a couple of weeks. I think there's between half and a quarter of a mm still to come off the nut and a smidgen of a rise in the bridge.
