I _think_ I've decided. In my head, I'm mapping out how to build the track. Hopefully, I'll get some spare time soon and actually do it.

Or maybe I'll get to the second week of September, panic and pull an all nighter... ;)

OK, all tracks pretty much in place, but another hardware synth rejected - Sound Canvas. No editable voices, and although there is quite a range, none will really do. However, for future reference I must remember it has some quite nice percussion sounds, especially considering it's age.

One more hardware synth to try, and if that fails, it's on to software ones and sample players.

Is there any chance someone can break into Dave's place and reset all of his calendars?
Have started something far too ambitious and could really use an extra month or two... Failing that, I've started really early for the challenge that'll hopefully be running this time next year

I could do with an extended deadline too - but not because I’ve started anything too ambitious. I haven’t started anything at all :headbang:

I think I've got something. Fairly short, and no title yet.

Cor, there's some clever buggers around here! We've had our first two entries already. Congrats to both who PM'd with links - files are downloaded and stashed safely.

Of course, it's all the more embarassing for me as I've not even started mine. And there's only 11 days to go. Still, I should be able to spend some time at the weekend and kick it off. I can hear bits of it in my head already. If I don't start soon, it will be another 11th hour job.

I did say end of Sunday the 16th .. didn't I? ;)

Feeling smug. I've started mine. A week early no less. It even vaguely resembles my initial idea .. sort of ... a bit ..

I vote we just trap him down a dark alley and mug him for them.... :D

I was feeling smug on Sunday. Yesterday, I listened back to it on earbuds and was less smug - I may need to tinker some more. Or I may just leave it. Oh dear. I see where this is going ... another few days of umming and ahhing and then a mad panic on Sunday evening....
