Another one off the video production line

I set up the camera and just hit record and then created a few arps and tweakedthe sound, gate and modulation. Sort of a random thing to see what would happen, all good practice though :)

Ta Martin :D

Used the tiny single VCO Treadstone Modular for this one. Build the sound up then triggered the Treadstone arp and sequenced and modulated with the Generator.

I absolutely love this - it totally hits all the right buttons for me, and I adore the menacing understatement of the piece. Nice work!

Some of my musical works.
I had a weird time in Surrey once, but that was a drummer's fault.

Thanks Eddy, it's hard to go sonically wrong with the Polymath as it just seems to put out really great meaty sound and with a few tweaks scarey sound :o Fab Synth

I made a shorter version of the video above for those with less time to digest a long one. The fast food version :)

Got a Qu32 mixer for the live jams, so this is it's first outing

Polymath sequenced by a Generator, Oberkorns and telemark and Nyborg percussion

And recorded from and effects provided my a Qu32

Not exactly fluid with it lol but I'll get there :)

Some Treadstone and Generator this time. Ran it through a Qu 32 Mixer and applied some FX and then recorded the stereo out and converted to MP3 with no post processing. Trying to do 99% of the work away from the PC so the mixers made this much easier.

Hope you don't mind me asking but what am I supposed to feel when listening to this? If it's admiration for the technical skills involved then yes, I can see that. But if it's enjoyment of the music then I'm completely missing it. It's just repetition with tweaks with no emotional content or feeling whatsoever. What am I missing?

I don't mind at all, it's just as you said a rather simple sequence, the point of which was to show the modulation features of both the Generator sequencer and the modulation features of the Fusebox along with how it is straight forward to tweak and change the sound.

As a stand alone piece it could soon become tiresome, but that's not the point, think of it as a part of song that has yet to be placed in context. A single jigsaw piece waiting to be placed.

For example in the cover i did of this next tune the percussion and bass and synth accompaniment started out as simple loops also before being placed in context:

https://soundcloud.com/user-314656760/j ... ntal-cover

Or I used a load of different seqeunces in this as well as live play and put them in the context of the final(complete)song, Depeches Modes Oberkorn

https://youtu.be/seDAPMJiipQ
(Incidentally Martin Gore got to hear the shorter version of this and asked to be sent the full version, which made me happy as I'm a life long Depeche fan :) )

So it's more an experiment in ideas as opposed to be taken as standalone.

I like how frank you are by the way

Here's another sequence using the Generator this time with a Fusebox and Polymath. Starts off with the wet spring reverb output of the Polymath and builds up into a wall of sound :)

This one I think is a result of a sugar rush after eating a ton of the sweets left out for the kids at Halloween :)

It's a bit of a racket :P

Leipzig Sk, Generator food.

Not quite a Generator topic, but I got this yesterday as an additional set of keys to run with the Generator via the cv inputs.

Recorded my first go on it (as you do) and pretty happy with how it sounds so looking forward to hooking it up with the other gear to see what comes up.

Starting off with the Fusebox I introduce 2 Polymaths, 2 Nyborg 24s, 2 Telemarks to build up a nice sequence

Sequenced by 2 Generators and 2 4 Oberkorns

Mixed on a Qu32 with some live tweaks

Simon Cowell would tell me I'm so current for this one

A Halloween Horror with the Polymaths

I applied a few effects through the Qu32 mixer, some delay and reverb, plus a phaser to gve a bit of noise and High freq interference.

Liked the structure of this one Davy, although for me the heartbeat lacked its classic low end power - I thought at first you might be rolling the bass off to leave space for a subsequent kick drum appearance, but that didn't appear either.

Hope you find this useful feedback.

Keep up the good work though!
