Anything known?

I have downloaded the program but not run it yet. It is some 100M so probably complete and doesn't use one of those infernal "installers"?

If it is kosher I shall try it then send it to my son, he has problems getting a consistent internet connection.

It's worth a look, if you need to capture notation from real-time MIDI input.

The free version works. What's to lose?

You don't have to write songs. The world doesn't want you to write songs. It would probably prefer it if you didn't. So write songs if you want to. Otherwise, dont bore us with beefing about it. Go fishing instead.
