So ... a totally unbiased opinion then ... surely that rules him straight out of reviewing it?

Alternatively, an extremely well informed opinion, who better to review it?

If you're dreaming of synths you can't afford, surely it makes sense to dream of the most expensive available. Why waste time on anything cheaper?

Thanks for that link Dan - I was somewhat underwhelmed when the various dignitaries had a video noodle on it (they made it sound like a glorified organ in many respects, rather than a fully-featured polysynth).
However, I can now far more appreciate the subtleties of the waveform and modulation options, and it's really growing on me 8-)

Yes, it looks like a real beast -- an I love the OLED displays for real time waveform displays and envelope generator shapes. I imagine it will take a long time to get to grips with all the possibilities. Not sure they'll sell that many, though, at the price. There's a lot of very good alternatives for a lot less.

I suspect also after Gordon's most positive review of the Behringer Model D in this month's SOS that this new Polymoog will seem even more expensive :(

Dreaming is different to Lusting :)
Pretty sure I will never get the Moog so I could dream about it I guess, I would rather spend the money on a Pro X and C15 though.
