:-) Yep, it's definitely the February 1998 front cover featuring the Korg TR Rack....

I'd recognise that white font anywhere. You can clearly (sort of) see it says Digidesign and Tools 24 above his fingers...

And the timing fits also... Feb 1998 went on-sale in mid- January 1998 and the film was released in late 1998.

This really rang a bell with me. Back in our performing days when we were doing our second US trip - this would be 1998 I think - quite ordinary seeming Americans kept sidling up to us and telling us that Oreo had just started selling "cookies" with double thickness filling. It was weird, like they were trying to get us to snort coke or (worse in their eyes, it seemed) drink beer. But no, it was just biscuits.
