dont know whats the problem, it isnt my interface or my macbook or speakers because i bought a new macbook and interface, and the problem still occurs when i use my interface without it being plugged to my speakers, hope someone can help me with this problem :(

Hi Dave,

The fact that this distortion sounds very resonant and builds up slowly suggests to me that you have some internal 'howlround' - a fader that sends the output signal back to the input somewhere that slowly results in the audio feeding back on itself and getting louder and louder.

It's difficult to say exactly where this fader might be, but I suspect it's in your audio interface controls.
