Anyone have a TOA 310D? Troubleshooting advice/service manual needed.

Postby starthammering » Wed Jan 23, 2019 10:42 am

I recently bought a fully functional 310D, but it was damaged in shipping. One of the 1/4" jacks was broken and one of the RCA jacks was dented.

It was definitely functional before it was shipped to me, but for some reason now one of the internal fuses blows every time I power it on. I tried taking the whole thing apart, looking for an obvious short or a damaged component, but I couldn't see anything.

Does anyone have a service manual or advice on how to trace the problem?

I'm an amateur at electronics troubleshooting, but I can use a multimeter and am capable at soldering.

For anyone else who may be searching for the service manual, just write to TOA and they will happily provide it. What excellent customer service. Right up there with Digitech in providing documentation for discontinued products.

Good point, well made.

It is astounding how many people's 1st thought is to post on a web forum without even considering contacting the manufacturer. Many times I've responded to a request with a link to the manufacturer's support pages and the OP has come back to tell us how helpful the manufacturer has been.
