The latest Sibelius upgrade offer

Postby Gone To Lunch » Tue Jun 11, 2019 12:26 am

I have stuck on Sibelius 8.5 for the last two years.

Have any of you tried the new upgrade that is advertised thus :

“New loop mode, musical scrub, Mark up your score in review mode, Flexitime with NotePerformer”

I am mostly interested in the loop mode - specifically would it let me 'compose' into it like I can in MIDI into my DAW (Digital Performer) ?

I haven't tried it either - been using Sibelius 6 for years. Let me know if ends up working out for you!

It might be worth having a look at this post if you are considering uprgrading Sibellius.

Make sure you have a contract lawyer with you if you read it and a big box of paracetamol.

I wonder what the original authors of Sibelius (on the Acorn Archimedes no less) think of this gouging and arm twisting :(
