With catalina coming our way i wondered who is using mojave.
I normally don't bother with updates unless logic require it, but interested in people's opinions, cause obviously i'll need to get it before catalina is out!

Happily using the latest version of Logic Pro X on Mojave running on a late 2012 Mac Mini quad core i7 with 16Gb RAM and SSD. No issues whatsoever.

And Bagpuss, once he was asleep, was just a saggy old cloth cat.

I'll do as I usually do and go to Mojave when Catalina comes out. In preparation for that I've already downloaded the Mojave installer.

This is exactly my setup too and no real problems as such. I waited until quite recently and upgraded from High Sierra. Just a couple of things I noticed:
I have some NAS drives mapped to connect on startup, and for some reason after the upgrade Finder often displays these drives twice. Or displays some or one of them twice. Has had no effect on how it works though.
The other thing was that after updating to Mojave my Moog Subsequent 37 Editor software continually claims to be disconnected from the hardware, even though it actually wasn’t (I could still change settings from the software). But that may be coincidence as I’ve had other issues with the synth which is now away being repaired under warranty.

Re: To mojave or not
Made the jump to Mojave, and it killed my Sibelius 7. But seeing as that's 10 years old, I suspect it's going to force me to jump to Dorico. Which isn't such a bad thing I guess!
Everything else appears to work fine!

Ignore the post count, I have no idea what I'm doing...

Lawks! That's worth knowing. My wife's still on Sib 7.5 and she's not ready to move off yet despite having Dorico because she just doesn't have the time for the learning curve ...

I've been wanting to get Dorico for a while, so this has pushed me over the edge to jump ship. Although the "buy now" button on the steinberg website is currently broken!

Mojave seems fine. I use it with logic 10.4.4. 10.4.5/6 too buggy for my workflow

Steinberg do a quite decent crossgrade deal from Sibelius, if memory serves.

Yep. I can get the education crossgrade, which is a fantastic deal. However, the Isle of Man isn't allowed it for some reason, as I can get cubase into the basket, but not Dorico.
I've flagged it with them so hopefully they'll find the problem.

Just noticed the forum is missing a facepalm smiley.
