As long as the Pioneer has a suitable input (say a mono aux in)* and you can adapt the XLRM to whatever connecter the input uses that Alto BT receiver should work fine.
*The Amazon page doesn't detail output level for the Alto so it might need a Mic input

Just a thought, the Pioneer will probably have a stereo phono input somewhere, I have one of these https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/bluetooth-audio-adapter which works fine and would plug straight in.

The are the pics from the back of the Pioneer Controller so your unit should work?

Or we can use the mic input since that's xls and we never use it?

That little Logitech box would work into the phono inputs on any of those channels.

Re: Any way to bluetooth to Pioneer DJ Controller?
To clarify on all of this, he plugs a regular RCA cable into the phono input and into that box and that's it right? He will be able then to play YouTube from his phone wireless and be able to use the Controller's phono volume, bass, mid and highs controls?

Yes, just like connecting his phone to a BT car stereo or WHY.

What about the quality issue Sam, in your application, do you notice any difference in quality of the Audio using the BT?

Re: Any way to bluetooth to Pioneer DJ Controller?
I only use to for playback in the studio to learn a tune when rehearsing or to listen while I'm doing something other than audio. Quality is fine for mp3s and BT latency is what it is (and irrelevant for that purpose).

Re: Any way to bluetooth to Pioneer DJ Controller?
Just reporting back as we only got to this yesterday, the bud bought another similar unit. Was easy setup, the sound quality is as best as could be expected from a wireless source, not bad.
The range could have been more as his situation is an L shaped area with the yard being the horizontal part of the L and the driveway being the vertical part. When I walked from the yard into the driveway the sound cut off at about 10' away and I am sure if he should enter the house through the back door that sound will cut off too.
He is satisfied though as the purpose of this is play youtube from the phone while sitting anywhere in the yard so thanks again!
