Well, I just sent Dave B my track for the One Synth Challenge. I'm sure I had much more fun making it than all of you will have listening to it! I look forward to hearing the brilliant dulcet tones from the rest of you.

One hint: I did not use a Virus!

If it's allowed, I may try another go with another relic from the rack.

I still can't find the PSU for my chosen synth!

I'm beginning to see why some posters detest the wall-warts.

I've never liked a solo violin, you need at least five for a proper fire.

You would need to get looking for that PSU fairly soon, time is marching on.
Ive already bought some synth polish AND sharpened all my pencils...

So far we are up to 4 entries - 5 when I get off my ass and do something. I know that there are some more in the pipeline, but I'm a firm believer in 'the more the merrier' in this case

:D

When I initially posted this, the idea of self isolation / lockdown was a bit of a light hearted joke. Not laughing now are we? I've had a couple of comments about how this has been one good way to focus attention on something positive. So come on everyone - roll up your sleeves and dig in!

Shouldn't there be some spirit of the lockdown features, like only being allowed four notes per tune? ;)

Ha! That reminds me of a KVR competition a good few years back where you had to compose something that in some way featured 'E'. My answer was this - a tune that is not only in the key of E but has at least one E note playing all through

P.S. It's no coincidence that I put it on my website page titled 'Octover'

I’ve made about five finished tracks in the last two days using my Moog Grandmother, but you know me, my music is varied and sometimes very left field, so what I consider a finished track may not be yours, that's why I haven’t contributed here before.

I think you should go for it. My entry, assuming I can find the PSU, will be utter drivel, but that's not going to stop me. :)

OK, I’ll go down the basement and sort some tracks out tomorrow.

So if I play three 'F's all at once...

Yep, that's it! 'The ace of spades, the ace of spades...' :D
