Awesome!

These are great. It's like an SOS article, in your ears!

I really like the format you're using of one, focused topic for 15-25 minutes or so. (Too many podcasts are rambling 1-2 hour discussions, and sometimes that's good, but something a bit easier to consume is also nice too.)

And by mixing up the presenters, you get a nice range of voices so the content is likely to be nicely varied.

Presumably once you get going you're going to be running sponsorships/ads, something similar to some of your YouTube content?

Anyway, as a big podcast consumer since about 2006, these get a big thumbs up from me - well done, team!

I currently make podcasts, this might be the thing that finally tips me onto listening to them!

The Podcast Team will really appreciate your comments desmond. Thanks. I'll go share this with them.

Each new episode across all 3 channels will get its own SOS web page too, and these are tagged under SOS Podcasts. See here: https://www.soundonsound.com/sos-podcasts

Just listened to the first episodes of the Recording and Mixing and the Electronic Music podcasts. Really enjoyed them and learned stuff too.

I thought there was something slightly "Open University" about Mike Senior's one. I mean that in the best possible way! Loved it.

Congrats on a great start. Many thanks.

Ali.

Thanks for the kind words, Alasdair! It's always great to hear that the work we do is making a difference and helping you all to improve your skills.

:D :bouncy:

Love this! I also noticed that someone on Apple Podcasts said I sounded like Ed Milliband, so I'm hoping that that was also meant in a good way... I can already see my new business cards...

"Mike Senior -- The Open University's answer to Ed Milliband!"

I think I may have peaked.
