QSC K.2 series query

Postby Craigslee » Sat Aug 01, 2020 9:46 pm

If I have two K12.2's and two KS212C's per side (four boxes left and four boxes right) fed by a stereo signal from my desk, can I link all four boxes per side utilising the in/outs and integrated crossovers? Or is it better to use an auxillary (mono) sub channel for all four KS212C's?

Many thanks for any advice.

I’ve done it both ways. I’d say it depends on the music, the band, and acoustic environment. That said, have you tried running the subs side by side in the middle on an aux? Experiment. See what works for you and the performers.

Thanks resistorman, so I can link all of the in/outs on each side and just use a stereo send from the desk?

I.e. lets say we are sending the left stereo channel... in sub "1", out sub "1" to in sub "2" then out sub "2" to in k12.2 "1" in then out k12.2 "1" to k12.2 "2" in?
