Having another listen through today, and enjoying these even more... However, I have even less idea who is using what :(
Some more clues please Dave.
The names of the synths, and maybe how many times each is used.

Eddy is on the right track with me, but I shall reveal myself as one of the people that submitted two.

Bit early for revealing the synths I think, let’s give people the opportunity to listen and have some guesses...

It’s part of the fun of showing just how futile it is!

As Eddy has guessed two different tracks for me, I'm not going to reveal which one was on the right track :D

Track 13 is 100% the K1v plugin and I applaud the hero who attempted this (it was on my short list too!) and did such a good job.

They have, however, now used up all the good sounds!

Careful Rich,
By saying that, you've just told whoever did the one that's not yours which it is

Has anyone deciphered the morse code in the last track? It reveals the secret!

I've done 12 letters so far... but unless I've got it wrong it's not yet revealed anything that the first three letters didn't! Hmm... I shall investigate further

I've never liked a solo violin, you need at least five for a proper fire.

First up - they're truly marvellous and I've really enjoyed listening to these - They maybe our best yet...Having listened to them all loads of times I can now say with certainty that I am no nearer nailing user or synth :headbang: BUT here is my attempt.......

Track 1 - Warm Pad - to Rompler vocalesque? - sounds D50ish? and a nice development too
Track 2 - Grungy start with Osc sync and is that FM- the chordal progression wrong foots ! - It does sound analogish so Im going to go possibly Prophet or another dave smith?
Track 3 - Is this Yoshimi?? it sounds as though its a good VA? Folderol?
Track 4 - Crikey that is deep - I’d say a dave smith one again - that resonance sounds pretty convincing and that brass lead too - nice work
Track 5 -Chiptune - what a riff!! - reminded me of ghostbusters! - that sync sound sounds good - but I’d say it was VA - and Desmond?
Track 6 - That voice  …..juxtaposed with those lovely grand swells - wild guess Dave??
Track 8 - I think this is possibly analog - maybe a Behringer clone of Odyssey ?
Track 9 - Those strings and that vocal patch make me think it could be a VC340 clone?
Track 10 - that’s a lovely opening ARP - feels VA though because of the range -Like this
Track 11 - Loved that almost pretty vacant riff and - amazing what you can ring out of a…..yamaha reface???? Either that or a B3!
Track 12 - I think this is Eddy, I think its the Hydra and its a great piece
Track 13 - Can’t comment but Desmond nailed the VST!!! I’d little realised how limited it truly was back in the day - the OSC has rubbed that itch to buy another hardware version well and truly!
Track 14 - That lead sound reminded me of a sound that I used to get on the Waldorf Blofeld - so that’s where Im going.

I think again...it proves that

a - in a mix analog and VA or even type of synth become practically impossible to single out these days
b - Its amazing what you can ring out of one instrument when inspiration strikes or desperation requires
c - limits can increase creativity not just stifle
d - The Kawai K1 was so limited that you couldn't possibly tour with it in your rig and convince the rest of the band that it sounded like a D50...... :headbang:
