Got a great deal on this PC,
wondering if it will be allright for audio production.
Running Studio One ver 4 now and my Windows 7 machine took a nosedive recently.
Also running EZDrummer, several instances of guitar audio (Amplitube 4) and a few T-Racks plugins.
The RAM is expandable up to 64bit, currently at 8GB, so I'll at least pop in another 16GB as that's probably all I can afford at the moment. I have a 2nd SSD and the PC takes a 2nd drive, so possibly run audio production on one and record to the other.
My audio interface - I have 2, one is Tascam 16track that records full band, now with Corona - good luck on using that...second one is IK AXE I/O which I am using for the most part.
What do you think? This I am not sure on:
1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate); 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (Data Transfer Only);
I have a travel interface that needs power via USB bus and a backup drive that does as well.
