The good news is that it is finished now and my studio is complete! :)
I will be adding some further acoustic treatments in the future but the one's in place do a good enough job for the moment - this was always going to be an imperfect build, but I think all things considered it's come out really well.
Here's a 10 minute video diary of the build for anyone interested.
My apologies in advance for the less than stellar camera work (shot with a phone) and also for how many times I say the word 'obviously' - Jesus it's bad!!!
In my defence I had just been watching a Peter Beardsley documentary!
Anyway for those interested it can be viewed here...

I so relate to this! I was fortunate to once run across a woman who coached public speaking and after being eviscerated for both off the cuff and highly inappropriate humor, and for stupendous over use of the word "um" in my presentations, I eventually crawled into a cupboard to die. When I recovered, I was a much more present speaker and thoroughly glad I don't give public addresses with any frequency.
Great video, thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Well done!

Take my advice, I'm not using it.
Re: New (imperfect) Garden Studio Build
Thanks everyone, been like a hermit in the studio the last week or so - loving it! :)
Sadly the 'office' area is seeing more use than the studio side at the moment, but that'll likely change after Christmas and hopefully 2021 will see me finish the album I've been working on the last few years (fingers crossed).
Really appreciate all the comments and pointers you sent my way , thanks again and wish you all a merry Christmas and happy New Year. :)
