if you bought one of these pedals you could call your self Bad Monkey Harris. :bouncy: [/quote]

Plus Sculptor's comment also swayed the Bad Monkey for me!

So I bought a Bad Monkey for £20 off Ebay, it arrived today and I have the day off...

I'll report later on using my 'booteek' stuff as a reference.

First impressions,

Works well as a boost with both my Strat and Les Paul, adds some bite on an already cooking amp. Tone controls are very good on the unit itself as well.

Will try it out clean at some point this afternoon and see how it reacts with my guitars controls.

I'm using a 60s reissue Strat with Custom shop pickups and a Les Paul Standard with Burstbuckers into a Mesa Lonestar Special 2x12 at moderate volume settings.

I think its worth noting that the build quality on this thing is amazing for the price point and that it very heavy, so will not break easily.
