My current keyboard setup

Postby Eddy Deegan » Sat Mar 14, 2020 11:08 pm

My whole musical world right here ;-)

Image

Kitlist:

  • Work laptop running Reaper (happens to be a Dell XPS)
  • Edirol UA-4fx interface (bought as an emergency MIDI interface years ago for peanuts)
  • Arturia Keystep (Original, not pro, bought on Monday to use while in Holland)
  • Yoshimi Pi

Err. That's it (apart from the K702s obviously). It's quite liberating actually, I'm having a lot of fun!

What pitch are you getting from the glass with a dark liquid?
Is that your portable equivalent of a crystal bowl! :D

All the right pitches in all the right orders ;)

That's pretty minimal. :)

I love the KeyStep, I have two. :) However, I can't play for beans.

Nice simple setup. Just what I like :)
Incidentally, that adaptor in the wall looks rather precarious :?

Yes. I am that Linux nut.
Onwards and... err... sideways!

Don't worry - it's quite secure, just at a slightly odd angle due to its design; there are no stabilising pieces engaging with the socket.

I have a lighter and better fitting one here somewhere which I usually use but at the moment it's misplaced hence the bulkier one (as it has a number of different slide out adaptors) in the wall

For me, that would be a perfect excuse to load up a small skiff (like the 4ms Pod) with some select modules and an SQ-1 along with the KeyStep.
