Missing past issues? Can't find an Sound On Sound article?
Wayback Machine's 'SOS All Issues' archive page. Select the Month/Year you want and view the Issue contents list. Click the article heading to open.If you've reached this page, it is most likely because you tried accessing a URL for an Sound On Sound article which has not yet been migrated from our old site.
- On 15 June 2016 we launched this new web site, which currently hosts 10,861 independent, high quality, in-depth reviews / techniques / interviews / tutorial articles — plus news and SOS Forum posts.
- We are working hard to get the remaining issues converted into the new site format but this can only be done in main magazine/website production 'downtime' and it is a long-winded, convoluted process.
Past issues are generally being added one edition at a time to this SOS site, in reverse order, until we get back to January 1994 — although we have recently been adding individual articles and still-relevant/useful series from older issues, when requested.
TEMPORARY SOLUTION? Visit The Web.Archive
Thanks go to a wonderful non-profit organisation called Web.Archive.org, who run their Wayback Machine service that catalogues billions of web pages daily from all web sites. This means it has captured snapshots of the full SOS legacy site, as it used to be — meaning SOS articles not yet on our own site can still be found in Wayback's extensive web archived pages.
How to use the Web.Archive: Click this link to: 'Show All Issues of SOS' on Web.Archive.org — once there, select the Month/Year and view the Issue contents list. Clicking article links will open most of them. It's not perfect, but better than zilch. Try it...
