Australian loudspeaker and amplifier manufacturer Wayne Jones Audio have announced that after much consideration, they will be ceasing active operations effective 30 June 2026.
The company have released the following statement:
"Over the past 10 years, Wayne Jones Audio has developed a respected international reputation through its premium studio monitor systems, bass guitar amplification products, artist relationships and commitment to innovation and quality within the professional audio industry.
Unfortunately, current worldwide economic conditions, declining market activity and the increasing challenges associated with sustaining a specialised boutique manufacturing business have made continuation financially unviable.
At 74 years of age, founder Wayne Jones has made the difficult but realistic decision to conclude operations and step into retirement after many years dedicated to the industry.
While active operations may cease, the company, intellectual property, studio monitor technologies, brand assets, product designs and associated opportunities will remain available for acquisition or continuation discussions for any party interested in carrying the brand and products forward.
Wayne Jones remains willing to assist with transition support, consulting, product knowledge transfer, and operational guidance where appropriate."

The company have stated that they will continue to accept and fulfil orders until the official closing date.
