Anthony Marinelli Music have recently announced the launch of Bass DNA, a new online course that teaches musicians and producers how to design powerful, musical synth bass sounds from scratch.
Created and taught by veteran composer, producer and synthesist Anthony Marinelli, the new course draws on the sound-design methods he has used throughout his career, which has seen him work on Michael Jackson’s Thriller as well as collaborating with numerous artists, composers and producers across the music, film and television industries.
What’s Included?
- Bass DNA Core: Nine lessons, 3.9 hours.
- Bass DNA Expression Expansion: Three lessons, 1.6 hours.
- Helpful on-screen graphics including text callouts, signal and control flow graphics, oscillator configuration definitions, strengths and weaknesses and much more.
- Lifetime Access: Hosted on Teachable with both desktop and mobile access. The course can be viewed using desktop browsers or on mobile by using the Teachable mobile app for iPhone and iPad or the Teachable mobile app for Android (note that the Android version is an early release and still in beta, and that offline mode is not yet available).
Along with the tutorial content, the Bass DNA course comes with a license for Cherry Audio’s Miniverse soft synth, which delivers a meticulous emulation of Moog’s legendary Minimoog Model D.
